I also firmed up the dates for the monstercross races, and decided to run the Prescott version as a scavenger hunt/scramble type event. In the interest of keeping it legit, it has to be on NF, and a loop course fitting that criteria wasn’t going to come together well. It’ll also allow riders of different backgrounds and inclinations to ride the same event, finish, and hang out after. Possibly on tap: BBQ competition that evening to be judged by the winners.

I’m also sad to here that the 12 hours of One will not happen, this year. If interest exists, I might head up and do an informal 12 hourish endurance lap ride on Mt. Elden, try to hit all the greatest hits and log some serious vertical and tech in one day. Resupply at the Schultz Tank TH.
