(edit: for some reason the map doesn’t load. If you search for Hanksville and Hite in adventure sections of Google maps you dig up routes. I tried to save a route as the “Poison Springs- Sunset Pass cycling loop. Dunno if you’ll be able to find it.)
You’ll be linking from the yellow pin down to the green, then on through the reds and purples back to Highway 95. My scattered research and estimates have the following for distances:
95>Dirty Devil river: 15 miles
DD>Sunset Pass (seventh purple pin): ~20-30 miles (this is very rough)
Sunset>95: 35 miles (solid)
95>95 (road miles): ~40 miles
So, a bit over a century. Some fast, some slow. Should be a good adventure, who’s in?
M and I have spent most of the day, after we lazily got up and collected breakfast, collaborating on a seat mounted cargo bag for the Lev. I think, we collaborated on the design, and she sews. I began the project last night with a truly pathetic and misshapen effort, so her input is invaluable. Not only will the finished product be exactly what I envisioned, but it will be far more stylish than anything I could picture.
