I’ll be incommunicado for a few days at least, off with M and my parents north of Williams, in quest of one of these for the fridge:

I haven’t seen my parents since May, so urgency will not be a pressing concern for the hunt. Hanging out in the pines, then stalking Thanksgiving dinner.

On that note, a Death Valley t-day is the most likely possibility for now. Hanging out, camping in pleasant conditions, cooking with a dutch oven, and (for me at least) climbing this here mountain.

Telescope Peak should be without snow that early, but it’s east face does feature a climb from below sea level to above 11k, in addition to amazing views up high.
