And damn, am I excited for some unstructured time off. So what must I do? Fill the time as quickly and completely as possible, of course! Enduro-mania does not do well left unchecked and untended. Here are the ideas kicking around thus far:

Wednesday: very little!
Thursday: AM in the Grand Canyon, perhaps a Hermit-Tonto-Bright Angel run. PM cooking (our Thanksgiving duck is thawing in the fridge as I write).
Friday: MTBR Black Canyon Trail group ride (and a 10% chance of snow that evening!).
Saturday: sitting on my butt watching movies!?
Sunday: running amok in Flag with Dave.

Sometime in there grad school applications will be worked on extensively, and numerous little projects will be completed. Much sleep will be gotten. And I won’t have any leftovers from work to fill the gaps of idleness! Victory!

On a more serious note, M is dwelling in postcard purgatory with her Trans Iowa hopes as of this evening unconfirmed. Not fun, especially given that we hit up el gym this evening, her for some quality work, me for some bouldering (almost doing V5+ off the couch; yeah!!).

It’s starting to feel like the holidays, that bizarre hole in our lives. Is it the apex, or the nadir?
