Yep

All that can be said: IT’S ON!

Got out for a bit over two hours on the reborn monkey this afternoon, and it would seem that no excuses are left to me. The legs are firing on all cylinders. It wasn’t the best ride I’ve ever had on 305, but it was stronger than most, and given the circumstances that’s ok with me.

The bike is in great shape too. Reba like firm butter, H-bars great for climbing and descending, and the new Dry X front tire confidence inspiring and fast as hell. Nano fast, Ignitor cornering, tougher than either and bigger than both. Me like.

It should also be said that 305 is one of the best trails in the land. It was a good day to be out ripping skinny dirt through the pines, and also a great day to sit on top of a hill, eat a banana, and listen to the wind in the trees.

Life is, as always, good.

Took the back way home, with some exploratory old road (following those tire tracks) and wash riding (RR training). The wash (walking) got a bit old, so I bailed. On to the golf course. The cart paths being the steepest pavement around, easily over 20%. Interesting, especially when I run into golfers and slyly ask “which way is the road?”

Home is that way!

As is dinner!

Taco: turkey italian sausage, potato, refried beans, salsa, avo, lotsa fresh cilantro, bit o’ mozz.

And a Bridgeport IPA to futher aid recovery.

Watch out.
