Riding Today

Eric and his wife, Heather, were kind enough to invite us out to dinner last night. Then, I got invited on a ride this morning. Inspired by Fred, I decided to ride to the trailhead.

It was excellent. Over 40 miles of riding before 1100. I wrote a bit more about it here.

My Lenz is back up, fully functional, better than ever, and generally awesome. The Ignitor tubeless conversion held, a relief as it took a bit of doing to get it to seal completely yesterday. The Ergons are excellent. They make flat bars feel not stupid. My new rear cassette is an 11-14-17-21-24-27. Forces me to use the 20t ring more proactively, and I don’t think I’ll miss a 32 all that often. The stubby Racface 165’s give perfect chainline, too. One day I’ll get real bashguard for this crankset.

The gnar-gnar superchunk of trail 62 gave the Lev a new battle scar.

I’m pysched for next weekend, and ready to take a nap soon.

That is all.
