KMC is done for the year. Results on the race blog. Harris killed it on his Siren singlespeed, Brian and Calvin tied, I busted out my best race effort ever on a bike to round out the finishers, and Chad and Nathan rode bonus AZT and “bailed” back on the road. Andy and Rob put in solid rides as well.

It was a damn good time, besides all the riding. The food spread lived up to tradition, fun was had, Wesley (Lynda’s son) made lots of fart jokes (“Dave [Harris] can dutch oven the whole world!”), and I stayed up until almost 2200 Saturday night bsing around the fire.

Chad, M and hit up a beer and pizza lunch at the North Rim lodge, and last night and today have been chilling in Cedar City with friends. Zion tomorrow.

I can’t think of a better way to spend three days.
