Walking

..in the Rattlesnake this afternoon. Plans to go further afield after work this morning were delayed by a car that would not start. Fortunately, this was solved in a little over an hour by purchasing a new battery. The truck has spunk it hasn’t had in months!

So I continued my exploration of the ridges on the ‘snake. Today: the ridge north of Spring Gulch.

Cool stuff in the woods.

Big views on a bright day.

Such walks are distinctly back to my early years, wandering off trail around a patch of woods, not looking for anything in particular. Though I have to confess part of my current ramblings is scoping lines for if the snow comes.

Back to work.

Edit (12/5):
A received a 100% on the singles-subject essay I posted here last month. Thanks all for your feedback, that made it very unlikely that I will not receive an A in that class.
