Ultra

The latest time killer.  I’ll have to do it one of these years, question is, what mode of travel?

I’ll have to ask Pete.  I love the sled.  Looks about 1/2 the size of most others.

Condolences to Geoff and Jill,  DNFin is a mofo.

    Yeah, I have to give huge props to Pete for trying to ski this thing and doing as well as he’s doing. Watching him ski that first day of the race, he’s just not as strong of a skier as a guy like Cory Smith, who has tons of experience skiing. Cory’s movements were flowing and fast, whereas Pete looked choppy and seemed to be working much harder. He’s a naturally strong athlete but not necessarily a naturally strong skier, so Pete basically just made the race that much harder for himself. It is a good year to be a skier out there, though. Yeah, this is my first DNF but surprisingly, it doesn’t bother me that much. (Yet). Finishing a race is kind of overrated. Toes, on the other hand, are kind of cool. :-)
