Grand delusions?

I say I want to ride the GL this year, and my knees keep giving me shit.

After intervals on the Lenz yesterday morning they’ve been creaky and achy as hell, strengthening and foam roller nonwithstanding.  Not encouraging.  I’ll be taking things as they come, but expecting that much out of my body so close to the end of school my be a bridge too far.
I notch it up to neglecting good training, and especially muscle balance work, prior to the Rim Ride and spring break.  Hitting the singlespeed hard since hasn’t helped, but in and of itself would not have caused the inflammation I’m experiencing now.  If anything I’ve learned in the last years that these things run in big cycles, and that being hasty is not going to help.
I’ll find something to entertain myself, regardless.  And I’m confident that I’ll be able to do the KMC 200, in any case.
