Almost gone. Things are coming together, I’m settling into the groove and getting a schedule for all my responsibilities sorted. One thing is indeed for sure: it’s going to be a good fall.
New Belgium did it again, by the way:
Just good. Clean, interesting, a bit of fruit in there too.
Parcour plans have been finalized. Looks like I’m scrapping the bike idea and taking the grand Bob tour with Mr. Sawchuk.
Super stoked. Super, super, super. Gotta throw in more hill climbs, and as much time on the feet as I can manage, which is difficult. Foot training necessitates a bit more time than bike training, but I think it’ll all come together.
M and I split tomorrow early for three days in Yellowstone, with the Bechler River and Pitchstone Plateau center stage. We’ll be doing a lollypop out of the Old Faithful area; down the Howard Eaton past Lone Star Geyser, over the Divide to the Bechler, cross country across the Pitchstone, down and around with a side trip to Union Falls, then up the Bechler and back the way we came. Natural hot springs, volcanic fields, the densest area of waterfalls in the park, and hopefully some fresh fish for diner on day two. And a perfect fall forecast.
I’ll be back.
