High concept video blogging.

3 days down the Flathead were so overfull, and because of that so rushed. I tried to evoke that contrast. Did it work?

  1. Did it work? Duh, it most certainly did. I felt like I was watching a sped-up timelapse of the Bob flashing before my eyes. My only creative suggestion would have been to add some sort of closing screen. You had title screens at the beginning but the end just went from footage to done – no ending black screen to wrap the whole package up. Otherwise though, well done. Not sure how much time and energy you put into where the cuts between footage went but some of them evoked quite a bit of feeling.

  2. Holy crap Dave. What an awesome movie.

  3. Good idea on the closing screen Sam. During early drafts I was starting to push the limits of frames per second, panning and transitions in iMovie.

  4. I wish Apple would "beef up" iMovie's capabilities. I'm a capable user of some professional non-linear editing suites but I don't have them (and can't afford them) on my personal machine so use iMovie instead.
