Where you can’t see much at all.

The top of Big Mountain, around 800 this morning.

I often struggle with a bit of SAD this time of year in Montana.  The time change kicks in, and suddenly the light and clouds at 3pm makes it seem like 6, I get home in the dark, and it becomes a struggle to get out.

Skinning the ski hill should prove an effective antedote.  Just have to recall as much when the alarm goes off at 530.

  1. Say goodbye to the sun, Dave. The three seasons I spent at The Big would have killed me with it’s lack of sun if it weren’t for the blower powder that kept me sane.
