Overcast, windy, vaguely cool. A good day to hang out, drink tea, and work on projects. I’m about to finish item two, and begin item three. Top secret work for the KMC, brought to us courtesy of M’s creativity. Can’t say more, but I’m very excited about it.
I think it was also a good choice to stay home this weekend.
Edit: Switchback 3 arrived this afternoon, four days ahead of schedule! Apparently my relationship with Speedgoat, and Jeremy in particular, has been beneficial and they kicked some free expedited shipping my way. On first impression, the light is very well put together. I really like the locking cord connectors, very solid. The battery is enormous, by the standards of “normal” (hiking) headlamps. I may get super motivated and find myself out before dawn tomorrow. Perhaps. It’s currently charging up, and may be ready for a spin around the block this evening, or at least a look off the porch. Pics tomorrow once I get it mounted up.
Now I’m playing the husband, and M is making Guiness and Ghirardelli Brownies for the party tomorrow (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/
Cookbook:Oatmeal_Stout_Brownies). I’m not the baker in the family, too much precision.
