Located at 9300 feet above sea level, our 100 watt LP signal
only reaches the 500 or so residents of our isolated mountain town.
Three mountain passes surround Silverton and sometimes act as blockades
due to extreme snow levels and avalanche danger. We are literally
the smallest radio market in the United States.
KSJC subsists on donations from the people that consider themselves
part of our very special community. So come check us out and
consider becoming a supporting member of this very special community institution.
Forward-looking nostalgia being both good and dangerous.
The mere fact that M has said that she would move to the coldest town in CO is cause for celebration and action.
