Bedrock & Paradox

I dream of a hard and brutal mysticism in which the naked self merges with a non-human world and yet somehow survives still intact, individual, separate. Paradox and bedrock.

Always a prescient omen, a sunrise. It was like that for about 90 seconds.

Update, tentative schedule (subject to modifications due to weather, whimsy, or caprice):

F: drive as far as possible, with a short stop in Flag to stretch the legs on a short ride.
S: drive to Salida, ride and hang out, weather permitting.
S: alpine epic with Tom P. Drive to Denver.
M: check out campus and the city at large, real estate? Buff Creek?! Drinking!
T: meetings and interview. Stay, or go.
W: Westward! Maroon Bells circumnavigation.
T: Fruita with Craig, Fred, perhaps Blair and crew?
F: Moab
S: Moab
S: Moab? and home.

    if you want to ring the bells I might be game to be sick on Wed? Just a thought. I haven’t talked marni into crazy loose rock and traverses yet. There will be snow though. Buff creek on monday after work or during the day?

    I am going to miss you in Moab by a few days. I will be down there Wed-Sun of the next week. For the race, but also for some “pre-riding.” Oh, and finally some time to take my camera down there and get some footage I have been wanting.
