The above is Nordoff Ridge, the “spine” of which the business of the race will be run. In March I will finally make it to the LA area.

Fred, make the Rim Ride in Feb or early March. Please!

Should be a very, very solid base for Wasatch and Zane Gray. Currently the hypothetical progression stands as such: turn in a sub-12 Double in The Ditch by mid-January, blast the Red Hot around 6 hours, survive the C2Moons in good form (I’m projecting a time around 20 hours, which will be adjusted based on the aforementioned), notch a solid Zane (sub 12’d be nice, albeit ambitious), and have a fun summer notching as much time above 10k as possible.

PS: Janet Napolitano is on Horizon, the state NPR talk/geek show. She’s quite the sleeper, our governor, but much like an Eisenhower has much more going on than is available at a glance. I like her, and while the moderator is very far from being a Tim Russert, she makes all the king’s kiddies from last night seem both blustery and inept.
