Is irresponsibility, plus a three day weekend I didn’t know I had coming.

I have a rather different situation. Our principle is quitting, and I am not getting a share of her responsibilities, as was discussed. The big boss here (who was not part of said discussions) transfered all her administrative powers (as supervisor, etc) on to our English teacher, who’s been here for ages, and is now swimming in loads of extra work, without extra pay or relief. And I thought for a minute the choice would be a ration and proportional delegation, instead of a vague stop gap. My emotion quickly changed from dissapointment to glee in the meeting, as I realized I was dodging the shit rolling down the hill.
And I have Veteran’s Day off, too. Anyone have plans for something dumb this weekend?
