Please ignore and forgive the excessive me-age, this is my lame way of uploading to picasa and preserving things for memory. These are all Harris’ excellent work. His tiny camera around the neck rig is obviously far superior, in that it gets pictures taken!
Saturday morning, rolling out in the first hour.

Topping the big un’. This is now my desktop.

Packing on Sunday morning. Note lack of bullet holes and cute hood. The packing system, in particular the under-saddle stuffsack, worked very, very well. In general, the bike just kicked it all weekend.
The only flaw was my overly rigid pack, which rubbed some vertebre raw on the second day. I pulled the alu stay out of the RT 25 yesterday, and imagine that will fix that issue for future outings. That and a smaller bivy (my Bibler Big wall is HUGE packed.) and I’ll be dialed for this sort of thing.

Washed out cattleguard in Collet Canyon, proving that it was at one time a serious road and not a mere “route” down the wash. I thought out launching off the 1′ drop on the far side, but let me lameness get the better of me.
Overall a very tame stretch of wash.

Fire! Small sticks of dead, dry rabbit brush burned easy and well. Ashes crushed and buried, left nothing but tire tracks.
