Snow!

Yep, it’s snowing at Fred and Susan’s house right now.

I’ll be playing in the Aspens tomorrow.

We eventually shoke free from the morning lassitude and rode Porcupine Rim (from the house) with Kurt, Dan, and Stefan. Windy, and very fun. It’s been a while since I went for a ride and got so thoroughly dropped (riding very little, and by yourself, does that). Lots of amazing riders out there in the world, and I’m grateful to know so many. I’ve also gone three for three now: three days, three rides (23 hrs, ~130 miles), three endos. I’m almost sure I can still ride like I could 12 months ago, but that little sliver of doubt in the back of my head keeps biting my ass. Maybe I need a bigger bike, or armor. Or to deal with a blunted technical edge living in Montana.

So I need a new helmet.

    beware buddy….we may have to pass if we both continue to have the dreaded “pink eye” come thursday…..broohaha…..medication supposedly takes care of it in 24-28 hours…Ariel should start on it tommorrow…

    Speaking of snow… parts of the Wasatch have received about 100 inches of new powder in the last week.
