Grand Loop

I guess I’d better  do it this year.  Works in the schedule and all.

Yo Chad and Max, want to go for a team effort?  Brian, you should come too.  I’ll try to find some dehydrated beer.

  1. Yehaa! Plan on suffering in large quantities. But the experience will bring about so many superlatives that you’ll send us all running for our dictionaries.

  2. DH lol!!GL is good fun in a sick way. If I miss out this year I would highly expect to be there for 2010. I’m hoping it falls into place for 2009 though.

  3. Imagine a year of fun that begins with the AZT 300, continues on to the GL, a sprinkle of Kaibab MC, then a dash of some CTR and VT125, and finally toss in some curdled, rotten Trans Utah (aka DNF). That is how I see my perfect summer/year….. I’m in as long as it is after the 23rd of May (my first day of Summer Break!)

  4. What is the Grand Loop, Dave??I’m giddy myself with plans, just my grand canyon river permit for this winter!!!!

  5. The Grand Loop is a 360 mile ride done out of Grand Junction. Takes the first 110 miles of the Kokopelli, peals off to pass the La Sals on the east, swings south across the northern edge of the Paradox valley, then climbs up to the southern end of the Uncomphagre and traverses it back, crosses Unaweep near it’s eastern end, and goes back into GJ.
