Brianhead

It was a good day to be above 10,000′.
I did Bunker Creek, out and down BC Left, up BC Right. It made for a very scenic, leisurely 2 hour ride.

The tourists were out in force, I passed a bunch of very corpulent and haggard young guys, two Japanese guys riding without helmets, packs, or water, and a family with 12 year boys taking the descents with back wheels fully locked. So that’s where all the kitty-litter comes from..
I was thankful that none were descending Bunker Creek right as I was climbing, I feared for my safety. I also fail to see why people take downhill bikes on that trail, but that’s just how it is.
Time to rest and charge up.

  1. You are killing me here. WOuld love to try the backbone and spent a summer in Cedar City trapping and relocating endangered prairie dogs up by red canyon and bryce. Biked both ways up through brian head road only though. You NEED to go to the Wave in Vermillion Cliffs if you never have. Keep up the good life.
